A perfume decant or perfume sample is essentially a smaller flask or bottle of perfume. With a decant you can try out a perfume and decide whether you want to buy a larger size.
A perfume decant can also be useful for traveling. It does not take up any space in your luggage and may also be taken with you according to customs requirements.
